Steven Robert Weber is an American actor. He is best known for his role as Brian Hackett in the television show Wings which aired from April 1990 to May 1997 on NBC. Weber was born in Briarwood, Queens, New York. His mother, Fran, was a nightclub singer, and his father, Stuart Weber, was a nightclub performer and manager of Borscht Belt comedians. His family was Jewish. Weber graduated from Manhattans High School of Performing Arts and the State University of New York at Purchase.
