Alex Brunner is an agent in the Independent Film Group of United Talent Agency. Previously, Alex has held the position of Exclusive Medias Deputy Chief Operating Officer, Exclusive Media Groups Co- President of the International Sales arm, and before that its Senior Vice President of Production & Operations. Brunner played a pivotal role in 2003 to form Exclusives Spitfire Pictures label, where he helped build a full slate of film projects as the key development and production executive. In 2005, Brunner was the production executive on the critically acclaimed No Direction Home: Bob Dylan directed by Martin Scorsese which Spitfire released. In the years that followed that, Brunner served as a producer on Matt Reeves Let Me In, as an executive producer on the Hilary Swank starrer The Resident, as a co-executive producer on Peter Weirs The Way Back, as an executive producer on the Grammy Award winning Foo Fighters rock doc Foo Fighters: Back And Forth and most recently as a producer on the Dwanye Johnson starrer Snitch. Prior to joining Spitfire, Brunner worked at Intermedia Films under Sinclair who was then the companys Co-Chairman. At the time, Intermedia was one of the worlds leading independent producers and distributors of major motion pictures, responsible for hits such as The Wedding Planner starring Jennifer Lopez and Matthew McConaughey- K-PAX starring Kevin Spacey- Adaptation starring Nicholas Cage and Meryl Streep- and Terminator 3: Rise of the Machines starring Arnold Schwarzenegger. Prior to Intermedia Films, Brunner trained under an agent at International Creative Management for two years, working in both the motion picture literary and production departments of the firm.
